Before we discuss materials, finishes, or design, we assess what’s already there. The condition of the existing surface determines everything: the approach, the timeline, the cost, and the long-term outcome.

OVERLAY INSTALLATION
If your existing concrete is structurally sound — no significant cracking, heaving, or drainage issues — we apply the resin-bound system directly over it. The bonded overlay transforms the surface completely without demolition. This is a faster, less disruptive process that delivers the same high-quality finish as a full build. For properties where the underlying structure is intact, it is often the right choice.
GROUND-UP INSTALLATION
Where the existing surface is compromised — or where drainage requirements, property grading, or base preparation standards demand it — we excavate and rebuild from the ground up. This includes full site preparation, proper coastal base construction designed to manage water flow, and installation of the resin-bound system over a base built to last. On coastal properties, getting this layer right is not optional. Salt air and humidity accelerate the failure of surfaces built on compromised foundations.
